Charles O’Brien is
a gifted mathematics professor at Loyola University in Chicago. He is also the assistant head coach of the
Ramblers, the university’s basketball team, and that requires him to be out of
town frequently during the basketball season.
His wife is a very attractive woman and Charles feels that living in the
big city and all the extra circular activities of his job has a negative impact
on his marriage and relationship with Samantha.
Additionally, Charles must deal with the threatening advancements of an
abusive coworker, the come on of a young college student, and the destructive
behavior of a local criminal. Charles
grew up in a small town and he has always fantasized about one day moving to a
small town, teaching at a small college, and enjoying life at a leisurely
pace. He also hoped that a change would
improve his marriage and make his relationship with Samantha closer than
ever. However, there always seems to be
trouble in paradise and both Charles and Samantha have to overcome a few
situations that always seem to threaten their happiness. This is a story of
deep passionate love and the willingness of a man to do whatever he can to
deepen the relationship of a woman he loves more than anything else in the world. He must effectively manage a situation from
another coworker that threatens his marriage.
He must learn how to control the aggressiveness of another woman who
plans to destroy his relationship with his wife, and he must also resolve a
situation that could threaten the life of his wife.
